Hampton Inn & Suites Denver-Speer Boulevard

We usually NEVER stay in hotels when traveling, however the Denver Airbnbs around Ball Arena all seemed to have crazy rules and a $300 security deposit for a mediocre place and a longer walk to the Arena. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Every staff member no matter what time of day had an amazing attitude. Beds were comfortable, Suite was large enough for two people, salt water pool and hot tub, complementary beer upon check in, chicken and waffles for breakfast was a surprise, and a 35 minute walk to Ball Arena (we are mid-fourties) Things that could have made the stay a little better. - hot tub water was luke warm at best. - hot water ran out before my wife finished her shower twice (happened mid-day and after 10pm) - parking lot is NOT for large vehicles, if you have a long bed, super cab, box truck, or any type of trailer I'd research other parking.

Front desk was great- helpful and present. Breakfast was awesome: chicken and waffles, sausage, eggs, cereal, etc. We were able to park, but we took the last spot. So be prepared to have to possibly find other parking in the area, which can be difficult. Room was good. Clean and smelled fine. Traffic was audible in room. Water backed up in tub which was kinda not great. Overall- very satisfied. Would stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Couldn't figure out how to adjust the thermostat but we were able to crack open the window for fresh air to cool us down for the night. there was an area for drink refreshments (lemonade, filtered water, ect) as well as a serve yourself tap for alcoholic beverages. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay though. Fried chicken and make your own waffle station with vanilla or choco options. Sausage and potatoes were also really good. Was too full for an omelet but those looked good too. Parking was free (which seemed to be rare in this area). Amenity facilities were open late (we were too tired to use them). Overall would stay again!

I’ve stayed at this hotel countless times, pretty much once a month and don’t consider other ones when I visit Denver. Mark and Lindsay are super professional and friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

My wife, grandson and I just enjoyed our second stay at this hotel. My wife commented that concerning "in town" hotels, that there's often not much middle ground between cheap / gritty dives, and expensive luxury places. This Hampton actually hits that sweet spot nicely. With hotels I ask four questions: Is it reasonably safe? reasonably clean? reasonably comfortable? and reasonably quiet? A full 5 stars all the way around on this criteria. GREAT staff by the way. Be sure to inquire about the taps on the wall in the lobby. My only constructive criticism - the coffee is pretty thin and watery. We had breakfast (with coffee) 3x and even the "Bold" pot was rather weak.

The location kind of was scary when we first pulled up. But didn’t have any problems. Susan is wonderful at the front desk. Also spoke with Marcus before we came out who was super helpful. This place is NICE and CLEAN! Very newly remodeled. The breakfast is the best motel breakfast I’ve had. I will stay here again for the top notch service. They even had beer on tap but was out of service this wknd!

We used this Hotel a number of times over the past five years. As we have Friends and Family nearby. While the Hotel Staff is first rate. While we have never once been disappointed while using this hotel. We will not be returning. Not since Hampton Inn became a vocal supporter of the Trump administration.

Very clean and new feeling hotel. Just down the block from multiple good restaurants in a nice area for walking. They have a little convenience store in the lobby and the store across the street was open late. There's a brew tap in the lobby which is something I've never seen before! Pillows could be a little firmer but the beds are very nice.
